Community and social commitments

One of our distinguishing traits is our commitment to the local areas and communities in which we operate.

We promote a range of initiatives aimed at creating shared value for communities, making donations and organizing collaborations with local authorities and recognized partners, and engaging in social and environmental fields.

We believe that with everyone’s collaboration great results can be achieved. When facing any challenge, we support one another and strive to be successful.

  • We are actively committed to providing meaningful support in emergency situations that, unfortunately, are increasingly affecting our planet. We donated €200,000 to the Province of Ravenna to support the communities and people impacted by the tragic flood that struck Emilia‑Romagna in 2023, given our presence in the area with Cisalfa Sport stores.

  • Since 2019, we have been a sponsor and supplier of sports apparel, through the Cisalfa Sport brand, for all athletes of the Progetto Accademia Scherma di Milano, an organization that promotes, teaches and supports the practice of a wide range of sports for everyone, overcoming any type of barrier, as well as numerous special initiatives. This partnership reflects our commitment to raising awareness on key issues such as health, physical activity, responsibility and social engagement.

  • For years, we have supported the Italian League for the Fight Against Cancer (LILT) in several of its events, including the Relay Milano Marathon and the Pigiama Run, through the Cisalfa Sport brand. At the marathon, we provided the gymsack for participants in the non‑competitive relay (the funds raised through race registrations supported the ‘Visite Sospese’ program). We also promoted participation in the Pigiama Run through a partnership that included distributing a voucher to all participants (the fundraising linked to registrations helped support free projects and services across Italy for children with cancer and their families). In addition, on the occasion of Cancer Survivors Day 2024, we donated over 900 mats for a free yoga session held in Piazza Duomo in Milan.

  • In 2024, we entered into a partnership with Special Olympics Italy, supporting the National Winter Games, Special Football, the Rome and Milan Marathons, and the European Basketball Week through the Cisalfa Sport brand. Our shared goal is to further promote inclusion through sport as an example and source of inspiration, demonstrating how commitment, passion and determination can help overcome challenges and limitations and achieve extraordinary personal results.

  • At the end of 2023, we joined the Esobox project by placing esosport containers for collecting used sports shoes in six Cisalfa Sport stores (Bari, Grugliasco, Milan, Rome, Treviso and Bologna) and at the Curno headquarters. The aim is to raise awareness in our communities about the reuse of goods at the end of their life cycle and about the possibility of giving new life to waste—transforming it from discarded material into a resource and minimizing environmental impact.
