The parent company has been selected as the new partner for SportScheck

After acquiring Sport Voswinkel last November, the Group’s expansion outside Italy continues: Cisalfa Sport S.p.A., the parent company, has been selected among several international candidates as the new partner of SportScheck and will become involved in the company’s operations.

Thanks to our long‑standing experience in managing companies within this sector, we aim to quickly bring SportScheck back among the premium players in sports retail, and we believe that this operation will further strengthen our presence in Germany and the DACH region.

Founded in 1946 by Otto Scheck, SportScheck is one of the leading omnichannel sporting goods retailers, with more than 30 stores across Germany and an online presence in both Austria and Switzerland through its website, mobile platforms, and app. SportScheck will retain its brand and commercial identity, with headquarters in Munich, while benefiting from the synergies and economies of scale of the Cisalfa Group.

The details of this operation cannot be disclosed at this stage, as it is subject to approval by the German antitrust authority (Bundeskartellamt). After receiving clearance, expected in April 2024, the transaction is anticipated to be finalized by June 2024.
